Anyone got an SMP?

Nope, it is just because you only know it from Recording. I used to play on SMPs waaay before Minecraft YouTubers were huge.
The first huge YouTuber SMP was Mindcrack I think.

Yeah, I love watching Mumbo playing on HermitCraft because of the projects that everyone is doing and the amazing builds. Would totally love to take part of a SMP and be proud of what me and the team made.

I honestly would start your own.

Here's the problem.
I don't want to spend money on a server, as my budget is pretty low right now, and I can't seem to find many dedicated members to join the SMP. My classmates play CS:GO 99% of the time, and I only have like 1 friend which might want to join, but she (yes, she) is not too good at Minecraft, at redstone and at building. So I see no potential from starting an SMP with me and a friend, and that friend doing like nothing. And yes, my problem is also money soo.

Well you can buy the cheapest plan and your server will still run fine. I currently have a IRL job. So my payment is good. And yes I understand where you are coming from. I thought the same and I started my own in 2013 and never ended right. Then after time passed by I found the right people so single player or wait until time passes by may work out.

Singleplayer is no fun at all.

Meh, I thought the same. But then time passed and I liked it. As long as you like to see what you made grown. It's pretty dope.

Either way people usually refer to it nowadays as "recorded".
Not to mention it's more enjoyable recording something then not.
