No idea, just sounds like a very unsecured transaction which I'd rather not roll the dice on.

My network hasn't launched yet so just doing some research. As far as I know paypal isn't kind with non physical transactions though.

You need some more recent information. Paypal actually did edit their tos and they are somewhat okay with virtual goods

Case study:
- Someone is renting a slot out
- I pay him money
- He doesn't update the slot

What now, how does paypal know that the payment was related to this slot?

Even with an invoice, how do they know the slot wasn't updated?

When it doubt paypal protects the buyer in most situations. You could tell them any story and they will take it, although its not 100% perfect I guess. A contract might be a good idea

I write up TOS all the time. If you want me to i could.

I'm decent with legal contracts myself (Wrote a six page master service agreement for my developers recently).

As I am not going to rent a slot anywhere soon, I don't really feel the urge to write a contract for this just yet. I just feel like slot renting over short periods of time will be a common practice for my network when we do get around launching.

If you want you could write a public contract for any mc-market.org user to use for the time being.
