Anyone know a method for getting tons of players?

Anyone know how to get like 100 legit players on your server?
My server has been up for over 3 years, and only 5-10 people come on each day.

How did I get my mineplex playbase? Simple! I stood outside by a carwash with my server name wrote on a shirt. Millions of adults came wanting to get in my bed.. EZ PLAYERS EZ LIFE. Another way? Simple! Just give EVERY single player /op and staff.. They will stay on for life.

Everyone saying "make your server unique".. the real answer is make your server good. Players just want to play Minecraft, they don't care if it's unique. Just make a really high quality, yet fun server. Sure, being unique really helps but it really comes down to quality.

While some people are joking about giving OP, I have seen a successful server were everybody got OP when they joined, and if you donated you got more commands. There were always like 100 players on that server, mainly people who donated to the server (higher donation-extra commands like /enchant and stuff)
