Anyone know a method for getting tons of players?

Anyone know how to get like 100 legit players on your server?
My server has been up for over 3 years, and only 5-10 people come on each day.

it could. The server i just finished a map for has 20+ players on

Friendo, I own a server with 30-50 playerbase. If I didn't know about rank upgrade I wouldn't make money.

Everyone saying "make your server unique".. the real answer is make your server good. Players just want to play Minecraft, they don't care if it's unique. Just make a really high quality, yet fun server. Sure, being unique really helps but it really comes down to quality.

Unqiue + Good helps, but it can be Good and not unique and still be popular, but thats rare, I mean most non unique servers, ( Prison servers, survival servers, Faction servers ) Are fun, but don't have a good playerbase, it has to be great, standing out from all the others considerably.

I would say that custom plugins is also a way to go... Personnally the only reasons why my server had hover 300 peeps a day was because of the originality(custom plugins) and the youtubers....(Mushway,VitaPvp,LEgias,Ctl) ...In over a week i had over 3k different connections! Srry for english i'm French
