API to check for updates available

is here maybe an API avaiable to check for updates of a resource? Maybe like the Spigot one?

Not at this moment in time, but one has already been developed and we're running a closed beta test with a select number of resource authors.

The planned release is with our XF2 migration. However, it will only be available to members with an active Ultimate upgrade: https://www.mc-market.org/account/upgrades
