API

I think that there should be an API for resources because it would help resource makers know when they make a sale/download, and maybe even make a Discord bot that connects with Mc-Market. Here are some of my ideas for an API:

1. Get ratings
2. Push updates
3. Get updates (For example a bot creator can make it so a update is shown in #updates in Discord)
4. Maybe even download ID's like Spigot has
5. Get a list of new resources

And if anyone has anymore ideas share them below

haha i made a api and did a suggestion, and it got 8 agrees so far..

the bad thing is, i got suspended for making it.. MCM is never gonna have a API [my assumption] they literally suspended me for 4 days for making a cool API

You kinda did go against the "rules", by saying you made one. It would of just been best if you made a ticket with the suggestion, instead of making an suggestion and informing it to the public.

Holy fuck the suggestions is not a place for you to complain about getting suspended for blatantly breaking the rules

4 years later than anticipated, we have finally introduced our custom, first-party API. It's taken a while, but is definitely worth the wait IMO, the API is incredibly extensive and allows for very fine-grained control. More info: https://www.mc-market.org/wiki/ultimate-api/
