Hey! I recently built a beast computer for $1,000 USD. It's great and preforms amazing on Minecraft.

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor
Motherboard: Asus SABERTOOTH Z97 MARK2 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Memory: G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 970 4GB Video Card

Well, I kind of miss my Apple. Apple has a great operating system and builds quality computers. (Please don't say Apple is overpriced... you are paying for their operating system not the computer.) I'm wondering what's the best Apple laptop for school work, programming, and of course Minecraft and other video games (it won't preform anywhere near as well as my computer, but it's mainly for school work) with a small budget of $2,000. So, What's the best MacBook Air and Pro and how big of a difference are there between the two MacBooks?

Thanks, Justin

High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Buy an OP Laptop and pirate mac's os, I think you can still do that, forgot what it's called.

I'm not going to pirate Apple's OS, but it's very tempting. I'm surprised it's even available to be pirated knowing Apple.

Well, $2,000 is differently a ton of money and took a ton of saving as a student, but for Apple that's not very much money.

Hackintosh, no can do, OSX only supports drivers for very specific hardware.

You've already decided you want an apple, so now the easy part,
Want to run Minecraft? Get a MacBook Pro
Which MacBook pro? You can choose, not like they have a huge selection.
