Basically,

In appraisals I've noticed a lot of people appraising accounts that are worth $120 and tell the thread creator that it's worth $140-$245 (minimum and highest I saw on one thread).

I remembered a suggestion I had from a friend that told me that there should be Appraisal Judges. What would these judges do?

They would be reputable members/known account sellers (maybe other categories for builds, etc) that would have a role kind of like the ranks (same tag thing) named "Appraisal Judge" and these people would be trusted with their certain appraisal.
I think this would improve MCM by having accounts/builds/etc being sold at their TRUE VALUE, instead of the owner being a money begger for a low tier account.

This is just my opinion, if you don't like this suggestion, just give constructive feedback.
I'd be glad to answer any questions.

No human is capable of determine the "TRUE VALUE" of anything.
People buy and sell what it's worth to THEM as an individual.
There can be people who are pretty familiar with the market and are familiar with what "many" things are worth to "most" people, but implying in any way that an appraisal judge can determine how much or how little you can buy/sell something for would be incredibly misleading because it's untrue.

Sell it for however much you can; and if the item is worth more to you than what others are willing to pay for it, then hold onto it.
We don't need another official rank of any kind for something like this.

I see what your saying,

When I said TRUE VALUE, I was meaning to say the relative worth.
But your right, people should sell for the highest they can get, but I was just saying that some people sell $25 accounts for $250 (example).

So? That's the whole point of the account business. Buying/Selling accounts to make a profit.

Nobody needs to police these appraisals.

I see why everyone would disagree to this as I probably didn't word it in the best way.

Just trying to tell a point and how I think that it could be solved.[DOUBLEPOST=1516321653][/DOUBLEPOST]

It's not policing appraisals, it's just someone that you can look to, for a reasonable appraisal.
But I see what your saying.

I guarantee you that if someone is assigned this role, half the people would disagree with them on it and would not accept their calls.
As such, it would achieve NOTHING, since there would still be disagreement about value.

Lmao I bet people would even neg rep if they disagree considering possible outcomes

Lets say: I have this role, I appraise something a little off what other people are saying, I get called out, I say its my opinion, I lose credibility and get neg rep because people think I'm supposed to be a master 2+ years of experience appraisalist thaf should agree with what they are saying.

the neg would say: "Bad appraisalist, do not listen to what he places the worth of your goods for!" or some dumbshit like that.

This idea would cause several issues and possibly overall make everything worse.
