Honest to God how could it be a sport it requires clicking buttons. I do more work typing an essay at school or writing a paper

I believe them to be, personally.

Definitions are something that can be changed. Just because google tells you one thing doesn't mean it's set in stone.

These guys spend just as much if not more time practicing and competing in a sport-like environment than "real" athletes do.

Maybe not "Out with the old in with the new," but at least "in with the new." But that's just my opinion.
