Hello everyone,

Looking for a cheap ARM based dedicated server. There's really not too many requirements.

ARM Processor: ARM Cortex-A8 or ARM Cortex-A53 (Preferably ARM Cortex-A53)
Uplink: Must be AT LEAST 250Mbps, preferably 1Gbps
Storage: At least 1TB, preferably more on multiple drives if possible at price point
Location: Anywhere in the US, but preferably US East if possible. Europe may be an option.

Price Point: I'm not wanting to spend over $10-$15 a month on this. This really depends on what you have to offer.

Do not respond with any x86 based system. I am not interested.
Do not try to say "We don't have that but this is close".

My request is simple and clear.

Type
Requesting
PebbleHost
High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

ARM Machines should be cheaper, I know SoYouStart used to offer these for extremely cheap a few years ago. They have since been removed.

I’d much prefer a dedicated machine over anything shared, and would need at least 1TiB, preferably about 4TiB.

Yes, intel celeron and pentium processors are an option. Ideally the TDP would be around .5W-15W, if that helps you any as another pointer.

RAM is not a concern. 1-2GB is perfectly fine.

There is zero reason to pay anything more than $20/mo for something like this.

Kimsufi has a pretty good storage server, but the limitations are pretty bad. 100Mbps is OK. I'd prefer something with a little bit faster of a uplink though

It is a Minecraft forum... I doubt a lot of people here understand the differences between the architectures.

ARM Servers,
I know Ampere makes ARM Dedicated servers, the cheapest thing you will get is probably gonna be paying for the server then Colocating it yourself, and the cost of Colo alone would be outside your budget.

Why does it specifically need to be a Dedicated Server? It looks more like a VM would work just fine...
As I stated previously AWS has ARM-based EC2 Instances is there any issue with those?
It looks like it would meet all your requirements, I know AWS goes up to at least 40Gbps if you are willing to pay for it. You can do network-attached storage (Buckets or whatever the AWS equivalent is). Of course plenty of locations.

You said your budget is $10-$15 a Month, I highly doubt you will ever find a dedicated server at that price point.

Good Luck,
Raaj

It's possible, it's very cheap but it's plausible. Generally, I would assume ARM servers would be a lot cheaper. You can find the chassis for relatively cheap too.
