Asking for advice

Hey yall,

I was wondering if i should make a server, but i am wondering what type.

I am thinking of making a mini-game network, but it does cost a lot and yeah.

Advice would be great. Thank you!

what suits your taste? are you more of a tense player vs player sort of guy, or are you more laid back? Pursue what appeals to you the most and you know you can stick to.

Wouldn't suggest a mini game network, advertising is hard to get and it can be tedious creating it from the ground up. If you're looking to make some money, Prison would be an ideal game mode to start with, Factions is also relatively easy to setup but hard to gain players.

It's up to you what you choose but make sure you have some experience in the game mode (such as having played it, or know a lot about it) before you create a server based around it.

If you want a tip, for some free advertising when you launch - add your server to MCSL a few minutes before you're going to release because this usually will bring in quite a large amount of players and if your server is good enough, quite a few will stay.

Thanks for the advice! I am kinda maybe moving to a mini-game server. I love to interact and have fun with players. I was wondering what mini-game. Unique and cheap until i can make my own. Thanks!
