Greetings all,

I am an administrator for a soon to be released server known as AsylumCloud. We are going to offer a lot on this server, but currently we will begin our server with OP-Prison. We will add other servers with different game modes over course of the server's time. We are in need of additional staff members on this server to provide assistance for all of AsylumCloud's purposes. We will be accepting Moderator positions on this server. We need those who apply for staff to have a microphone and a Discord account. For those who want to apply, we need you to fill out the following application information below:

After I read your application, we will schedule a time to enter a Discord call for vocal interview. After that interview, (assuming you are accepted) I will give you a further overview and tour of the server.

What time of day would you usually be on the server: I'll be probably be on around the range of 11:00am through 6:30ish

Previous/current staff experience: I have been helper on the server CrazyKingdoms, hosted by the YouTubers Crainer, Jelly, and Slogomans

Why do you want to be a staff member here: I like to play minecraft, and one of the things I like to do is helping people. I want to enjoy the game while helping people so that I and them have the best possible experience we could possibly have.

Why do you think you should be accepted: I'm very friendly, and I will do everything in my way to help people. I want to be able to give players the best experience they can have on the server.

What benefits can you provide to the server: I can help players with any questions that they have. Currently I am studying to be a therapist, so I am learning to communicate to people in ways that they can understand better, when communication is struggling.

If a player advertises and you're the only Staff member online, what do you do: If a player advertises, there are many ways to go through with this. The way that I go is giving a verbal warning. Saying something like "Hey, [Name of player] if you read the rules, it states that advertising is not allowed on here. Can you please refrain from advertising please?" I think this is an appropriate response because it gives the sense to the user that I'm coming from a soft point of view like a friend, but someone who also enforces the rules.


You receive reports of a player hacking without graphic evidence, what do you do: If I was moderator, (which I want to be, but helper is fine too ) normally I would use my perms of invisibilty and fly to scout the hackusation. At that point, I would ready up my obs recorder. so I can provide evidence if the player is actually hacking. If I was helper, I would go into staff chat, (which is actually a good plugin, if you don't know. It adds the command /sc [text] to the server so staff can communicate to each other without the non staff members seeing.) and ask if a moderator can come online to record along with me. I would send the evidence to the moderator, who would take the warning/ban into their hands.

Banned for serious situations on other Servers: So far I have not been banned on any server.
