People submit Attempted Scam Reports often, why not have a new form under Scam Reports for it, and the title would be:

Name Attempted Scam Report

SHOW YOUR SUPPORT!

It's not as if it'll ask for different questions, I'll still need the same items. The only difference is for Amount Scammed you put "Attempted Scamming with what item/service it was".

It's not really needed and won't make any beneficial difference.

It'll look good though. Its not about what information you need, it just separates the Attempted Scams from the actual scams.

There is no separation between them. Both hold the same consequence, a permanent ban or suspension if it isn't as severe.

What I'll find annoying is when anyone submits the wrong form, and I need to fix the details. There was a reason Support Request Forms have removed the drop down menu, to leave it as you can type anything in the box. The Scam Report Form is the exact thing, you can type any details.

Like I said, no beneficial advantage whatsoever.

I see no reason to implement this when someone can just use the normal scam report format.

This is actually really smart, I do think that this will make a difference too because its pretty likely that the guy who tried to scam you will try to scam others. Nice suggestion
