(Can't show screenshots since I was kicked out of the group conversation right after they realized they had failed to scam me)
I was dragged into a group with "BucketOfSloths" and they gave me his mc-market profile page link. The impersonator's discord tag was "Jake#6316", and when I viewed BucketOfSloths's information from MC-Market, it also said Jake#6316. This gave me a moment of ease, only a moment. Then from lovely MC-Market, I suddenly remembered about fake characters, so I sent a friend request to that exact discord tag from BucketOfSloth's profile page. I asked BucketOfSloth's in the group chat to send me a friend request, and he sent me a friend request completely different from the one I sent to the actual BucketOfSloth's discord tag, LMFAO.

I had a guy who impersonated me a few years ago and scammed so many people. I think I’ve had 5 or 6 scam reports open on me and I’m pretty sure 5 of those were from impersonations. I ended just moving any business I do on site and it eventually stopped.

I don’t really feel bad for someone who gets impersonated. A simple message can prevent a scam and a lot of people never seem to do it. The people that really piss me off are the ones who get impersonated and still believe that I scammed them and they call me a liar.
