well i need a digital optical to go into my pc which currently does not have a digital optical port, my tv does however and i can use hdmi from my pc into my tv and get the audio however im not sure if i can make it so the tv acts as a audio converter and doesnt display anything that would be wasting power, im looking for something cheap to buy or advice on if the above is possible
