You should add it so that you can have say 3 total auto up with the supreme rank, and they auto "up" every 24 hours. A lot of people cannot be asked to go through their posts and up each one.

You will get more purchases aswell

Maybe if you were able to enable auto-up and it would occur every third day or something in order to avoid the swamping that Samuel mentioned. So instead of the thread being upped every single day automatically it comes up every third day.

Maybe if we just had a button we could press and then it would open a box and we could select all of the threads we want to be bumped up. And there could possibly be a limit to the amount of threads you can bump with it.

While I actually think this is an alright suggestion, I’m only disagreeing to this as I believe it is sort of an overpowered feature for any user. If such a feature gets added, I’ll finally be incentivized to buy Supreme for me and my business account. But considering how many threads exist on this forum, whilst I can’t justify most of my reasoning with words. It simply seems kind of wrong to have such an addition on the site.

Now if Mick really wants to boost Supreme sales and make more money. This suggestion would be optimal incentive to convince many people to buy the rank.
Overpowered? This isnt a minecraft server with ranks that give you commands.

This was way before I even was a staff member and failed to explain it properly.

However, overpowered seems like a justifiable term. A feature too good that it breaks the balance of the site.

Competition is fierce. I personally believe it should be like that. Your dedication to the site can be sustained when you have a basic goal to maintain a presence on the site by up-threading.

Who needs to visit the site when you can just setup an auto up-thread then forget about it? What if you stop offering that service and now can’t be bothered to disable the auto up-thread? There are plenty of people like that. All clutter, all mess.

Too many people have Supreme. It’s not exclusive enough to warrant such a feature which really gives you an unfair advantage whilst squashing those below you.

Same thing can be said in regards to advertisements. Sticky threads, banners- all require no effort from the user. They could leave MC-Market and maintain sales. Of course, though, advertisements have a cost. But advertisements are also much more effective than up-threads. Advertisements get seen at all times, up threads remain in the sidebar for maybe 5 minutes, until a new post or another thread is upped.

Upping threads isn’t as overpowered as you make it out to be. If I wanted to get really overpowered, I could buy a $5/week sticky, whilst making that back in 30 minutes, minimal effort involved on my side, and none involved on MC-Market.

Yes, but then you'd have to auto-sticky it. The up thread button is nearly as important as stickying, so if you auto-up, that's nearly like auto-stickying, but it'd be free for a lot of users and just a few dollars for others.

For the price of one setup, I can purchase 5 months worth of stickies.
So sure, I'd have to come back once every 5 months to renew it, not too bad for the zero need for MC-Market in between those months.

The difference is 5-6 sticky slots vs thousands of Supreme MCM members. You pay specially for ads for a temporary amount of time. Supreme is a permanent perk.

The biggest concern with implementing an autobump is that once you enable it, we'd need to decide on a way to disable it after a certain period. Otherwise users would start an autobump on their thread and then leave the site and still have their content being bumped every day which makes it less effective for others. The solution we came up with was to give autobumping functionality to our Ultimate, $5/mo rank.

I suppose I will accept this suggestion since it was what I went off when deciding to give Ultimate autobump, but it's not exactly what was implemented. Thank you for the suggestion.

Now if Mick really wants to boost Supreme sales and make more money. This suggestion would be optimal incentive to convince many people to buy the rank.
Nope, I took it 1 step further with implementing a new rank
