Auto-lock?

I see many people post things on thread that haven't been responded to in over a month with something irrelevant. How about making it so that threads are automatically locked after not being responded in within a month or so?

I don't like this idea because many people come back after a long time, and they'll have to make another thread to do the same thing they did a while ago, and I also don't see why this is necessary since it only appears that it's locked and you can't comment on it, if a user hasn't checked his thread after a long time just don't comment on it
But anyways, different people have different opinions, and I'll still respect you even if you have a different opinion of mine

not common enough to make a thing like this for. Sure, it happens, but that means they'll just get a warning for necroposting (if the thread hasnt been bumped for a month or more). once you've had one of those you usually stop doing it.

A lot of shitposters do this sometimes, they eventually stop but I've constantly seen it happen. It would be a nice little addition to auto-lock threads when they are revived (the staff don't have to manually lock it).

maybe if it was a way that could be undone by the person that did it, and the total does not require a lot of work. otherwise, nah.
