Hello,

I have been taking an interest in the Minecraft EULA and how some of these larger servers are bypassing the blacklist. I have found that they seem to be using SRV records to redirect their IP and users.

I am just a little confused on how it is doing it automatically and in practice how someone would do it if they wanted to setup a similar system. Feel free to reply or PM me on here if you have any information :)

The EULA is there to allow Mojang to have their trophy set of servers. You know the ones that get invited to these large events - Mineplex, Hypixel, Cubecraft. If they cared about the rest of the community then they would act on their threats on taking legal actions against servers.

They just do it to keep the larger servers from going back to a P2W environment.

I have found out how they do it: http://fucktheeula.com
