Recently i've seen someone ask for an mc-market verify discordbot so i decided to make one that doesn't need to help of staffmembers from the discord server.
How my bot works:
The user types ">verify profilelink or profileID" (the numbers at the end of your profile link)
If the link is correct the user will recieve a PM with his/her discordname (ex. user#0000) that he/she needs to enter on his/her mc-m profile in the Discord area in the 'Information' tab.
If she user types ">check" on the server the bot will check if the token the user was given matches the one on the mc-m profile.
If it matches it will verify their account and you can check their profile with ">account @user#0000"
Admins of the server can also ">unverify @user#0000"
I don't know why this would be needed since you're only allowed one MC-M profile but you never know...
All the information is saved in a .json file in the bot's folder so you can make changes in there aswell if you want.
The bot has been written with Discord.js so in JavaScript and uses Node.js to run and NPM is needed to install/download dependencies.
How to install:
Download the resource.
Download and install node.js
Download and install npm
Make a new folder and put the downloaded, unzipped files in it
In the .env file you need to put your bot token. => Private bots are better for you because you can easily edit the name, picture, ...
Open a CMD or Powershell window and go to the folder
Type "npm install" and it will start downloading all dependencies from the package.json
To run the bot you need to type "node ./bot.js" in CMD or Powershell.
