So i was thinking that supreme would have a feature to so a thread is upped by itself without requiring the user to up it (using the upthread button). Maybe like a limit of 5 threads and you get to choose what thread to enable it on?

Yea um, one person claims all the recent thread slots for a second :?
The next second, another person claims them all!
The third second, somebody realizes that for some reason their bumping something that's 3 years old!

I agree with all of you, this would not work out unless Mick or someone else manages what & what can get auto-bumped.

Automating this system would be insanely stupid.

That's my two cents.

No. Just no.
There are some users who have a full PAGE of threads. Right now, they have to work to get those all bumped, which is good since it completely fills the front page. With this, there'd be nothing to keep others from doing the same, making a thread for each individual product instead of a nice, compact shop.
If you want a thread to be on front page, buy a sticky thread. If your service is anywhere near decent, you'll make back the cost easily.

Like others have said, having automated bumping just wouldn't work out if everyone could use it. You have to bump your own thread manually each day just so that bumping it actually means something I guess.

What's our thoughts on paying $5 for a month of bumping every 24 hours? It's like a cheaper version of a sticky essentially.

Do it, but add a queue or a limit of 4 bumps a day, etc[DOUBLEPOST=1495087213][/DOUBLEPOST]of threads bumped cause otherwise it would happend the same but in a different way.
I thought that if it was $5/month per thread it'd really reduce the amount of people who automatically bump it. I dont think that having a limit of 4 bumps a day is really necessary since there are hundreds of bumps each day anyways and a few extra won't hurt peoples sales too much if they dont have it.

but what if like a 60% of everyone buys it lol
I seriously doubt that more than 20 people at a time would have it (if that even) on the entire forum. Threads being bumped every 24 hours is a long time, even if there are 100 people who buy it, that'd be a bump every 15 minutes or so.

i mean a lot of people are making quite the money from mcm, so like most of the people that offer services on here have the sufficient money to pay $5 for an autobump in their thread, honestly i think it would boost a lot the business for the ppl who buy that perk, however if you don't buy it wouldn't their clients & business decrease a lil bit?
Not too sure, we'd have to try it to find out. Still, even if it wasn't balanced we could change the pricing a bit afterwards to fix it, it's not set in stone or anything.

a business account has already 12 hours, i dont think its a good idea giving them that perk of autobump every 12 hours, cause there would be even more threads being bumped every 12 hours, like imagine that there is 4 business accounts who bought the perk, and another 8 normal accounts who bought the perk as well, how many thread would have been bumped in a day? and let say as well that the business account they bought the perk for 2 threads. or 1[DOUBLEPOST=1495088254][/DOUBLEPOST]
I get where your coming from but isn't that restricting users with business accounts.

Yes it is, but it comes down to whether you'd like the guarantee and simplicity of setting and forgetting it or coming back every 12 hours to bump I guess.
