Bad Thing About KIT PVP

So, I've finally released my server. However, I've noticed that with Kit PVP, you need a decent amount of people to join in order to have fun.

Here's how my release has happened so far:

+1 person joins
- 1 person leaves
+ 1 person joins
- 1 person leaves

Seems like they get bored because there isn't anyone on. Has anyone else released a fully Kit PVP only server? If so, how'd you go about it? I have my network that just needs editing (then I can release it). But until then, it's fully Kit PVP.

Suggestions?

Personally, I would host events with rewards, like tournaments and such. You could have money pools, etc. PM me on Skype to discuss, I have many ideas @MakroszMC

Off topic, but the way you worded people joining and leaving i.e '- 1 person' leaves, it sounds like one person joined, if you think about it.

What makes your kitpvp stand out? If you can focus on that strength, you can advertise on other sites like PlanetMC or mass msg thru skype and get players.

tbh with kitpvp, you'll only be able to get a 15-25 playerbase :/ you should open Skyblock or something

Your server just isn't setup very well.

I spawned immediately into an arena, was given absolutely no indication as to what the server was. The map itself is laid out well, but it's also very bland and not fun to explore.

Weird random signs on walls.

"Tyler is bae" upon joining isn't too professional.

I can see all your plugins, there is 0 information given anywhere and there's no spawn to explain this.

The entire server can be summarized as, you spawn on an island. You PVP.

1. We're a drop-in type of PVP (There is no spawn). Just join & fight
2. Random signs are in fact random, that's the point
3. That's still needing changed, not a huge deal there
4. We don't care if people see our plugins, they cannot re-create what we have

We're fully custom. The entire Kit PVP side of it is different. We're working on map rotation at the moment. We didn't want to have a spawn just because in my opinion, it's simple.
