I think Mick should add badges to people accounts once they reach there anniversary date on MCM. Like something like the donation badges, but it's for how many years on MCM.

Already been suggested, put in pending, but ultimately denied.

We had a custom addon made for this but unfortunately the medals addon we use at the moment isn't optimised enough to handle giving tens of thousands of people a medal automatically.

These are all just possibles and examples but...

Social media awards for posting/promoting the site on said platform:

• Instagram (1 post)
• Twitter (1 tweet)
• YouTube (5 second clip)

Achievements:

• Poster (x amount of posts)
• Winner (x amount of winner reactions received)
• Popular (x amount of likes received)
• Dealer (x amount of rep implying x amount of deals)

Roles:

• Photographer (recognition for taking hot pics)
• YouTuber (recognition for being a known YouTuber
• Staff (might be cool to have another staff medal?)

Donator medals (you donate separately for them):

• Fire
• Water
• Wind
• Earth
• Wings

Misc:

• Trusted (very rare only given to users staff 100% trust)
• DWC (given to users who are potentially scammers but not 100% sure)
• Rich (given to people who are minted)

Just brainstormed a few, obviously it would need a lot of work and there are potential issues but still would be nice to make medals more common and have more on offer.

People should just make a support ticket if it means that much to them and mods and etc can deal with all that.

more unnecessary work for something so minor seems useless.

Eh, I don't really want to incentivise people making crummy advertisements for MC-Market on platforms like that. [Censored] and OGFlip do that and I think it looks pretty unprofessional.

Sort of like 'Large Server Owner'? I don't mind that idea. We could rename Large server owner to like 'Official' to give to some big people who are known for several things like owning big servers or being mojang staff or something. The problem with that is if we don't have set guidelines for what we'd consider is that I'd just be spammed by people trying to get the medal and lower the bar of it.

Eh, that's what we have the staff tags for in the first place and we already have a retired medal for old staff.

If you're a scammer, you're banned. If we're not sure if you're a scammer you're considered innocent. We run with the idea that everyone begins innocent and have to be proven guilty.

There's a few good ideas here but I don't really want to implement medals which I'm going to regret in a few months because they're either too much work or just silly ideas.

Yea well, if you sit clear and suitable guidelines it should be fine. Just some ideas:

• Mojang staff
• Official sniper provider
• Large Social Media Presence (idk how to word it)
• Large YouTuber
