There have been a lot of SE threads popping up recently which should not be allowed, this is a marketplace for Minecraft and OGs type shit but this is only encouraging illegal activity and making Mc-Market turn into a shit place along with legal precautions etc.

Threads for example:

https://www.mc-market.org/threads/394333/
https://www.mc-market.org/threads/394731/
+ all netflix, spotify services

Kids going here because on one forum they will get laughtbecause all their methods are free and public lol

Yes, this may not be exactly legal. Nor is selling Minecraft accounts. But this is a market place, and it is not just based around Selling Minecraft Accounts, or OG's. Yes, that is the key factor about this site. But there is also other products that are advertised and sold on this website. Such as...
  • Domains
  • Social Media Accounts
  • Video Game Items
  • Gift Codes and Licenses
  • Development
  • and much more...
The task, and the idea may be frowned upon because of the way it is being used. But it's a business, and it may not be illegal depending on how the user operates. We shouldn't limit the ability to sell products on Mc-Market unless it's stolen goods.
That's just my opinion in a short time. I'd be happy to discuss this more later.

There's a big difference between committing fraud and potentially legally getting customers in trouble or even mc-market and selling Minecraft accounts.

I see your point, but I just don't understand why we should limit users from selling their products.
The holder is liable for any actions that take place of the customer, and if something were to go wrong, then the seller would be held against it and preferably be banned.

This is just strictly about social engineering threads which shouldn't be allowed because it's literally illegal and fraud.

It is already against MCM's terms of service to promote illegal or fraudulent activities. Social engineering falls under this category.

Excerpt from TOS :
(vii) Promotes fraudulent or dubious business schemes; or (viii) Violates any law.

Simply report any thread which contains such content. The threads mentioned on this thread have been removed.

I've reported threads in the past that would have got people permanently closed on sites like HackForums and had staff members tell me the thread was fine. Seems like as long as someone can make something sound legitimate to someone, they just look past it

Feel free to add me to whatever conversation or support request that was in. If it was a report, please PM me with everything regarding the incident that you can. If it was in chatbox, please PM me with a time and phrase that I can search so that I can verify that this actually occurred, and if it did, correct it from ever happening again.

MC-Market has a zero tolerance policy for social engineering and the promotion of those activities, and I'd like to properly ensure that no post found violating this policy is left overlooked or misunderstood.

As for this suggestion, it is already in practice. As Lotus has said, please simply use the report button, I do apologize for the current wait time on reports, we are presently understaffed.
Thank you for the suggestion.
