1.4.1 Do not create posts outside the support section when using an account for support/appeals.
When I had to appeal for my false ban, I could not post links or upload any images since I had under 3 posts, so I had to break that rule.We do have ban appeals.
Create a temp account, and post only in support requests as per this rule:
Explain why the ban was falsely placed.
We do not accept appeals for bans which were placed correctly.
That limit only applies to links, images and other media. When I had to appeal for my false ban, I could not post links or upload any images since I had under 3 posts, so I had to break that rule.
If and when that happens, all information regarding the circumstance can be taken into consideration when making a decision. If for example someone opens a scam report against you and M6Gaming gives you 24h hours to explain yourself/give refund and you cant get on, you would get unbanned if you appeal?
I had to post a link that was essential to my appeal, that would back up my statements. However I could not post the thread with the links in my thread, when I removed them, I could. It's all in the past but I'm just quoting from my experience. That limit only applies to links, images and other media.
Nobody said you needed to use anything other than raw text in your appeal.
If you wanted to provide a link, or a link to an image you could have also provided that in text.
There's never a need for you to violate our rules.

I suggested this all the way back when Bebosny was owner, however, it was determined that due to the way core XenForo handles banned members, it would be impossible to implement this without also modifying our core.I have an idea:
When a user is banned, they have that ban screen & they are blocked from every single part of the site excluding a new "Appeals" section in support. They can post a ban appeal which will be a form, and they can only make them a certain amount of times and then they're completely out of the site.
MmkLook at this:
Hey, my name's Choo, and I'd like to appeal.
<insert a bunch of reasons why the ban was invalid>
I respect your rules and restrictions on new accounts and will send you my proof as text instead of links.

Or simply drop the https://www. and MC-Market won't convert it to a link.
Again, there is never a need for you to violate our rules.[DOUBLEPOST=1515193891][/DOUBLEPOST]

I do agree that we need a better ban appeal system though, and am excited to look into that once our priorities allows for it.
Denied, thanks for the suggestion. We do have ban appeals.
