What defines a confusing name though? I could have a name I've gone by for a couple years and now not be allowed to use it.

maybe ban not so much confusing names, but simply spammy names. something that is long, repeated strings of something meaningless would be considered spammy.

It's just confusing. Your theory can apply to several of the MCM rules.

Many people have what we call 'non-og' usernames here... and why do you care if it is hurting them? Its their problem, not yours.

I know that I couldn't care any less about the usernames people choose, they can choose what they want.

It looks toxic af but he used that on the forums. For all we know, some users could actually enjoy stupid names. I mean, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa is pushing a limit, but still.
