"Oh hey mick can you pm this random guy on site and say 'you're talking to the right person on discord' i would appreciate it thx nothing fishy going on here dont worry about it"They would then give the guy they are trying to impersonate the person they are trying to scams profile and tell them to PM them.
You're utterly incompetent if you get scammed via impersonation. All you have to do is confirm with the MCM user directly on site if its actually them you're speaking to on Discord, Skype, or any other platform.
I agree with most of the above, if you do deals involving money without confirming the user is who they actually say they are you're a little slow and deserve it.![]()
Thats now how i said it works lol,"Oh hey mick can you pm this random guy on site and say 'you're talking to the right person on discord' i would appreciate it thx nothing fishy going on here dont worry about it"
what...they will tell the person they are trying to impersonate to send a PM to the person they are trying to scam
How do you not understand that..what...
Then what I would do is ask the person they're trying to impersonate to DM you their discord.. not hard, problem fixed!I dont think you guys understand anything I said in the thread.
Someone will contact you on you're discord and you will arrange a deal.
Lets say for example $100 BTC for $90 PP
You ask to see their profile and they show you some very reputable persons profile
You ask for them to PM you.
The scammer will already be talking to the real owner of that account, the scammer will most likely say they are interested in buying something and they will tell the person they are trying to impersonate to send a PM to the person they are trying to scam[DOUBLEPOST=1527103744][/DOUBLEPOST]
Thats now how i said it works lol,
They will try setup a fake deal with the person they are trying to impersonate and THEN get them PM the person you are trying to scam to prove its them
Thats how people get scammed by impersonators.lol who does that
Not everyone thinks to ask that. Then what I would do is ask the person they're trying to impersonate to DM you their discord.. not hard, problem fixed!
I have been moderator on forums like [Censored] and its a lot more common than you would have thought..IMO What you're trying to bring to the table and how people are "impersonating" is highly unrealistic and you'd have to be pretty slow to not realize whats going on. I can tell you right now this won't happen.
