Ban the selling of Pokemon GO accounts!

I like Pokemon GO as much as the next guy, but botters are ruining the game for everyone! It is honestly getting out of hand. After all, this is a Minecraft marketplace. If you want to discuss Pokemon, just sign up for Gruss's new forum.

That logic is somewhat different.
Selling an account is one thing, but botting and boosting and ruining the game is another. Selling accounts shouldn't be a problem, botting should be. But it's not the botters fault since it's literally so easy to bot that it shouldn't even be a service lol. If you want to be boosted it can easily be done for free.

however I do somewhat agree that logic is a little off. IT should be allowed in the other market place. But if niantic finally decides to add a security system against bots (which they already do, just you don't get punished at all). Then botting should be banned. But I don't think that will happen since people sell minecraft cheats on here too.

They recently updated the game which stops bots from working (probably wasn't intentional) however botters are already working on ways around it, which is, in my opinion sad. The game was originally created to get users to go outside and explore the world. Meet new people and have a good time.

I believe that people who use bots to do things like Social Media boosts and Pokemon Go boosts ect. should have to be 100% transparent in their thread and with their customers that they used a bot to achieve what they did. This way users know how everything is done.

Yes, however this is limited to certain servers and if all servers were EULA compliant then there would be no hierarchy over normal players. Botting allows users to get to places which a lot of regular users wouldn't be able to, for example. Far Fetch'd is a region exclusive pokemon to Asia, meaning if someone with a bot was in America, they would be able to catch this pokemon and use it to there advantage, when very few regular users would.

While this is true and I do wish people wouldn't bot. This is a market. The only reason why i see this was suggested is because, its annoying and unfair. Here's a tip to Croc, and anyone who agrees with this.

Lol exactly what I'm saying I dislike these botter kids. Why this game was so great is even fat people got out and to them it didn't even feel like exorcising. And to someone like myself who has lost their social life to games I was somewhat able to recover that from this game.

And if it was unintentional, its like most cheats. If a new game update comes, it breaks most cheats until the cheat is updated. Same goes for mods.

However, selling accounts really isn't an issue to me. It's just the botting part that is.
In fact selling accounts would be way more valuable if botting didn't exist.

Honestly, who gives a shit. It's a shitty Pokemon account, maybe go complain to Niantic to patch the bots. Then maybe the sales will go down.
