neither are GO bots? you realise pokemon spawns are done by traffic in the area. due to people putting 1000 bots in places the pokemon spawns are thriving more.
However bots can easily level you from 0-20 in a day, which would not be possible if you were playing the game how it was intended to be played.
Please remember this is all personal preference. Feel free to make a suggestion on banning botted social media accounts, I'd agree with that aswell

If we are currently allowing modded accounts of other games to be sold, this should be no different.

Lots of modded games and stuff are to add more features to the game. Pokémon go is different. It's meant to get people like us our of our chairs and into the community more.

Again, Minecraft accounts aren't game breaking, owning the account with a certain username gives you no ability over another player.

Yes, however this is limited to certain servers and if all servers were EULA compliant then there would be no hierarchy over normal players. Botting allows users to get to places which a lot of regular users wouldn't be able to, for example. Far Fetch'd is a region exclusive pokemon to Asia, meaning if someone with a bot was in America, they would be able to catch this pokemon and use it to there advantage, when very few regular American users would, due to the costing of going to Asia and back.
Those are completely different because they are sold by the companies that run the servers, and are advertised to everyone. They're also there for reasons other than profit, like server costs, developers, advertisements, etc.
