I’m going to personally report every person offering homework services to their respective educational institutions. Nobody should be cheating on their homework that’s “immoral.”

Why would we want to ban the sale of homework services?
  1. Legitimize the marketplace. The site hypocritically enforces Rule 5.4 by striking down those who violate product ownership rights heavily, yet turns a blind eye to the sale of homework, which violates school's TOS. Choose one or the other. Remove 5.4 and commit to being an idiot marketplace, or equally enforce your own rules across all sections of the forum. Being inconsistent and half-assed only annoys the community even more.

  2. Get rid of our most toxic and notorious members. The homework market is saturated, comprising of idiots stealing homework, people who cheat on tests, and is also the section holding the most lazy people on the planet often due to not getting spanked as a child.

  3. The site no longer needs to allocate resources to develop features and moderate the section. "Opportunity cost"

  4. MC-Market will not die. By considering points 1 and 3, MCM can become an even better place for everyone and expand into even more markets. There are far more and far better opportunities out there such as Fortnite.

Who cares, people sell Minecraft accounts all the time, when they’re caught they get locked.
But they can still buy more accounts. There will always be cheating and banning it on a single forums doesn't change a thing.
I’m going to personally report every person offering homework services to their respective educational institutions. Nobody should be cheating on their homework that’s “immoral.”
So your essentially just gonna retrieve personal information on them then rat them out? what do you think your gonna accomplish? If their caught what does it matter its a single person at a time and on top of that a lot of people cheat.

I can understand the frustration that people must be feeling about us making such significant changes to our platforms with the removal of the sale of Minecraft and social media account sales. This is an ongoing process, and we don't claim to be perfect at the moment. In my announcement initially discussing these changes, I stated the following:

In order to protect the policies and rights of all sellers and buyers on MCM, going forward we intend to continue making changes to the platform to make sure there is no content that is in violation. However, this will take place over time as we continue to investigate the user agreements of potential companies of interest and develop appropriate tools and policies to accommodate them.

Additionally, I said:

If you are a representative of any brand or business and you believe that your rights are being infringed on by content posted or promoted by MCM, please start a line of communication by opening a ticket here https://www.mc-market.org/tickets/new and we will work with you to make sure any violations of your rights are dealt with.

For now, I will deny this suggestion and all others like it while we continue working towards becoming a more legitimate marketplace. We appreciate your patience with us in making these changes, but they won't be able to occur overnight and any additional suggestions made saying "remove x!" will receive the same response.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion
