Banning the sale of Hypixel SB Items

So I think Hypixel SB Items should not be allowed for sale, following there TOS it would be breaking the TOS to sell any Hypixel SB Items for PayPal/Bitcoin/Cash. It's also a very big market, which is encouraging more day by day to start up their own shops. People are even selling methods on how to get "COINS" fast. I do not believe for one second there is a 'private' coin making method that is better than any public one. I also doubt these 'methods' have any uniqueness/creativity around them, which is basically selling leaked/stolen services.

The market is weird and I myself was caught in a pickle where the Item disappeared while I was middle manning the deal. I ended up losing $35 (about $20 as friends helped). I am not creating this because of that but because the market is sketchy and there has been an apparent past to items disappearing while transferring through the player to player to player multiple times.

I know that some people are selling what you call methods. The difficulty is that there is a difference between a "method" and a program/software that provides you with an advantage in doing a particular task. For instance I have seen scripts being sold. These are not methods. The reason that they aren't methods is that hard work has gone into making something from scratch in the few cases of this that I have found making it essentially a resource. Methods that are banned are banned because knowledge alone should not be given a price from what ive heard justis say.

Yet I see “methods” to make coins being sold. It just makes my brain confused when we have people selling a method to make in-game currency for IRL money. The “method” is most likely public due to the mass amount of YouTube videos being viewed by many Skyblock players. I’ve seen YouTubers show there methods and my concern for this is that people are selling non-unique/non-creative money making methods.

And it’s just gonna turn into a very bad market. We’ve never seen this type of market and we can only imagine how bad it’ll get soon.

Obviously in every market there are going to be bad people doing less than legitimate things. This calls for control and some moderation, not outright deletion

You've been saying that you know how the market will turn if hypixel shops are still allowed in the future, care to elaborate on that?
Maybe you can enlighten us, because from what I see, it's a very simple business idea, for example me (seller) I put time in the game, and provide people who pay money for items that require time to get, so it's a transaction for pretty much time for money.

I’ve personally never had any issue of an item disappearing and it sounds like an user issue.

Since this suggestion was made we have disallowed the creation of threads selling hypixel skyblock items and coins.
