Barbarian Factions
Hello and welcome to my thread about Helper applications for my server Barbarian Factions. Firstly I would like to note that this is not a paid position.
About the server:
We are a factions server that offers many features you will not see on many other servers. You may claim them to be generic but I see few server with a combination of all these features into one.

Server Platforms:
We have three main platforms that we communicate or play on;
Discord: It is a necessity for staff as we do all of our communication there. We have been griefed before so it is not as impressive as it once was. It is still in active development but we do not have many people in it because, as I stated before, it was griefed. Please put JACK in the discord slot along with your discord info to ensure you read this.

Website: The server has a website/forums in which we process all applications, appeals and more. You can join it at http://barbarianfactions.com
Server: We are currently closed as we are in development of Map 2 but should release in a few weeks. You can add play.barbarianfactions.com if you wish.
Role of a Helper:
Helpers aid in regulating chat and with offenses they can warn, mute and ban appropriately for a limited time. They also help by responding to reports and appeals from the players as well as being an active member of the discord and the forums, answering questions, and just being a general active member of the community.

Applications:
I have no intention of closing applications for a while but we go through a three step process to become helper:
-Application
-If you get through applications you get a series of extra questions either on voice chat or text chat on discord.
-Finally is a 2-3 week trial period to test you and your abilities, after which we will evaluate you and see if you are a good fit. This trial period will take place upon release.
You may have to follow additional steps such as being questioned on the various documents we require staff to read.
We also have other rules/regulations that we generally require but some are not necessary as server is currently closed.

-Describe your ideal staff team, include ranks and a brief description of permissions (only staff who deal with rules enforcement, not Developers or Builders).
-How many hours could you dedicate to the server per week?

-Do you have any experience moderating or helping other servers? If yes, what was the server's name? What did you do on a day-to-day basis? How large was the community?
-Are you able to record evidence of players and post it on Youtube?

-Explain a time you made a mistake and how you fixed it:
-SCENARIO: It's your first week of being a Helper and you mute a well-known player. His friends spam your chat calling you a bad Helper and demanding that you unmute them. What would you do?
-SCENARIO: A player says in chat that another user is hacking. What would you do?
-SCENARIO: A user on the forums reports you for abusing your permissions with a short video showing you instantly muting them without giving a warning. In this case you genuinely made a mistake.
-Do you have any major obligations to servers, jobs, teams, etc. and explain if so.
