Hello, I am known as HuliPvP but you can call me either Zach or Huli, whichever floats your boat. Today I am "showing off" my remake of Bunkers which has been in the works for nearly two months as well as a remake of their famous Queueing / Party system for their Bunkers lobby. This is made for Surge Network (IP: surge.rip) which is undergoing beta at this time. We come to ask for beta testers or anyone who has suggestions for this gamemode.
Disclaimer: We, Surge Network, are not affiliated in any way whatsoever with the FrozenOrb gamemode called Bunkers. We simply thought it was a fun gamemode and wanted to put our own spin on it. All of the credit goes to FrozenOrb for the base gamemode idea which you can play on the Arcane network, they have been beta testing Bunkers the past few days now. I am personally a FrozenOrb fanatic, I would walk 1000 miles to meet Jhalt and GriffinPvP (huge fanboy), so I literally try to re-create everything that they have ever made.
So without further ado... let's get into the preview!
Bases Lobby - The lobby features a custom and highly advanced queueing system that sends parties of 20 to an available game server, the game servers are set in the config. There is also a replica of the Party system that MineHQ/Arcane has for their queue so that you can team up with your friends for a nasty battle against other parties. My favorite feature is the interactive and live-updating Ongoing Games GUI that lists the servers which are set in the config and shows their status by getting the MOTD remotely.
Now for the actual replica of Bunkers. This isn't just any other normal replica that you've seen around MC-Market. This has a Network-Wide Points system, Team Upgrades, Highly interactive GUIs, Team Backpack, Team Chests, Anvil repairs (haven't seen a replica with this), /focus, Achievements (in development), a rejoining feature (currently broken
), and WAY more ideas on the way. This has all been possible with the help of Adverbs who has come up with many ideas and is also my partner in Surge.
