Long time no see! I am renovating this thread to offer my art as a service. I have been doing a good bit better financially, so I was able to invest in an iPad Pro. Now I can do digital art in the same style as my physical art. You can have the files in a PDF or PNG in the end.

1. Once you decide on something and I start drawing, the deal is final.
2. You pay after art is finished

My mom had too take anti-depression meds. It was expensive yeah, but it really did help her. When she didn't take the medicine or before she took it she always was super sad and it really hurt me seeing her that way, its super important to get treated for mental health.

i mean i understand but honestly pills wont always be the solution, it's a mental disease, you need to take the first step, find your issues, solve them, not saying its instant it'll surely take time but i just dont see someone taking pills their entire life for depression
im a sad ass person but i doubt pills are the solution although i can understand their contribution

There is a big difference between sad and ill, I can consider myself a 'sad' person aswell. I think meds really help but yeah obviously its not the solution 100%. They do help though.

if u take pills at least dont over-do it and try ur best to allow urself to try being happy/working on what makes u feel unhappy

That's not how depression and mental diseases work. You can't just "allow urself to try being happy/working on what makes u feel unhappy." It is way more complicated than that.

Medication for mental illnesses isn't to solve the problem but rather to help you deal with the symptoms while sorting it out along the way with talking therapy or whatever therapy works for the patient. It releases and balances chemicals in your brain that have been affected. I'd say the main reason for taking medication when dealing with mental illnesses is for coping when times get tough, and perhaps having a more positive outlook overall, not for solving their issues. Unfortunately, medication, especially antidepressants, come at a high price, and I empathise with the OP.

I need them to help stabilize my mental state and stabilize my anxiety. This is not just depression, this is depression with anxiety which makes it a lot worse. Pills will be a solution until I can stabilize and get coping methods that can help me, atm, they do not work due to how bad it is. My issue is I do not have a direct cause or reason for the anxiety or depression and doctors can't figure out why either. So I can not find and solve them as you say. If you really do not understand mental health it's not the best to talk down on getting medication for it that can help someone like me for example. I do not have a choice to be happy or unhappy. It is what it is rn and I can solve it with medication. Not to mention to help solve it I have to see theorists and psychiatrist that cost 80$ an hour or so, which I clearly can not afford right now.

Hello, this is kinda hard for me to make in all honesty. I did not know if it was allowed either but I checked with Mick and it is ok. To give you all the run down on the situation i'm in:

-I have been suffering from anxiety and depression for a few years now to the point where I can't work and have not been able to start college even
-I had it somewhat under control just recently but due to some.. personal events my insurance no longer covers my meds
-I have been going though withdraw and the meds are out of my system and I am going through a relapse
-The meds cost anywhere from 500-800 USD a month

My life has been really rough for the past few years because of this off and on. I dread waking up and living to be honest and I just want to get to a state where I am stable to live a normal life. I am so tired of suffering and I finally got a little better and insurance screwed me over. I can not tell you all enough how much it means to me for any of you to help me.

So I do not really have any income or form of money to help pay for my meds and I feel bad that I can't do shit to help my parents with it. So I wanted to offer some hand drawn art and maybe some other things for donations basically.

I can draw illustrations by hand in ink, which I have sold for a lot in the past. Here are some examples:
