This has always been something we've known, it's just not something that's as easy to fix as it'd initially seem and due to how generally unnecessary that particular page is we've never had enough of a priority to fix it. We'll be moving to XF2 in a couple months and when we do we'll be getting a new theme that will likely resolve this issue.
