Looking for people who can personally vouch for a service providing this, I'm having bad luck installing this on an Ubuntu dedi so I've turned to this forum.

AREA: Preferably US but anything hosted in North America will work

Type

PebbleHost
High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Please don't suggest a service that is sketchy and/or oversells

What is it, a jar? I mean nothing would be stopping you on my hosting to just changing the jar file to that software. I'd assume other hosts would be similar?[DOUBLEPOST=1553633342][/DOUBLEPOST]Hmm looks like some of them are
https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Bedrock_Edition_server_software
It's written in C++. I assume you don't know what Minecraft Bedrock Edition is but it's the official name for Windows 10 Edition Minecraft and is also cross-compatible.

Neat! I like https://cuberite.org tbh.
Yeah hmm that would require a container that handles that app... I think ill add this....
I'll keep my eye out for other reliable hosts for you though.

Sorry what I was saying was that was one of my favorite C++ server variants

Looks like I could either use https://hub.docker.com/r/lomot/minecraft-bedrock or Ubuntu as a base though to handle it.
I'd shoot for a lighter image though since I like lite things...

but yeah any host that uses containerization should be able to if you ask them nice enough. A lot of them do.

Use a JAR called NukkitX, works on any hosting that allows a custom JAR to run a server on.
Works for Bedrock/MCPE.
(I work for https://withernode.com/ and you're able to do this on our services).
Just do some research about NukkitX as that would be a pretty easy solution.
NukkitX has protocol support for the most recent version but does not include the features in the new updates so I'll be using the official server software as it's probably way more efficient too[DOUBLEPOST=1553634731][/DOUBLEPOST]

Thanks for the input. One host that does support it fully is Shockbyte but from what I've heard they aren't the best host.

Most hosts here offers this like WinterNode, TorchNode and many more. Just choose the Bedrock Edition or Vanilla Bedrock, just not PocketMine or Nukkit. ;)
