Seriously,
I've gotten like 5-10 people so far who begged the hell out of me to remove their negative reputation.
And I don't mean like "Hey man, I'm really sorry for what I've done, I hope you can forgive me!"

There are people who actually come to me and start the conversation like "Hey man, I'm really sorry for what I've done, I hope you can forgive me!", although there are some kids who even AFTER I told them I won't remove their reputation, they start begging the hell out of me, "Please! Please!!!! Just remove my neg rep!! Please man!!!", You think I'm kidding? It actually happened. there are even some people who offered me money to remove their negative reputation:

These things become annoying, I'm not saying that you should make asking for turning over a page and asking the man to remove it against the rules, I'm talking about these who beg the hell out of you until you will remove it.
So yeah, Imo there should be a rule against begging for a reputation removed / paying for it.

If you disagree, comment why.

Paying to remove neg is as bad as buying pos, smh
Yeah, but there is a small different.
You can't buy positive reputation, but you can remove negative reputation in return of some money.

I fully agree, maybe implementing a system where only Moderators+ can remove reputation and the actual user can't. Just an idea.
Then you can't edit rep either. And editing rep is something needed. I mean, I've made mistakes when giving rep before.

------

I think this is a good idea, you shouldn't be able to pay to have neg reps on your profile removed.[DOUBLEPOST=1525376407][/DOUBLEPOST]
How much money did they offer? :p
Ikr. Although I'm against it, if I was offered like $5 to remove a rep, I probs would lmao

True, maybe it be like a Premium/Supreme feature to edit rep only then.
Sometimes it happen to give someone a negative reputation by mistake, it happened to me already I was going to give positive but I give negative by mistake. Imagen if someone give negative reputation by mistake and he is not a premium or supreme, it will be full of requests requested to the staff members, and all staff members have a lot of work to do.

Muchs got his rep because he paid people so yes, yes you can.

To the OP and anyone who may be reading this that has suggested rules to be added, why do you suggest rules to be added just because someone does something you don't like? Tell them to stop, if they don't, ignore them and report them with evidence they are harassing you. They'll get points, you'll be fine and if they continue after the points, just keep reporting them until they're suspended and maybe they'll realize that they ain't getting nowhere.
It's obviously that people can buy positive reputation even if it's not allowed. I'll just ask you to make me a notepad document with 2 words in it and I'll pay you $1.. No one can't say nothing about this be cause you just purchase something.

No, this would horribly effect newer users who probably screwed up in the past but actually learned their lesson

Why? If you're going to be that careless then don't leave a negative reputation? A negative reputation can impact deals and a lot of other things. Maybe actually be rational if someone is actually sorry for whatever they did to you? They have a right to at least try to get the negative reputation removed. If they're harassing you that's another story.

As I said in my thread, its absolutely fine to ask for it to be removed, but after you asked and get rejected, some people actually continue and start begging you and spamming you.

If someone continues to message you asking you to remove your rep after you've said no, please report it and we will warn the user.

This isn't really a problem that many people experience often though. Just be firm with the user and explain why you won't remove the rep if you're not going to. Generally if someone apologises I do remove the negs that I leave though.

Denied, thanks for the suggestion.
