Being scammed - how to recover?

Earlier today I purchased a Fortnite account of the user hooligan, who scammed me. He obviously didn't know this but hopefully he sees this and is atleast in the slightest regretful for his actions. I purchased the account so I could get vBucks, and re-sell the account. I purchased the account as the account was already worth alot. I purchased it for $45, which is quite a bunch. The money was supposed to be for my medication but I assumed by selling it I would atleast be able to profit in some way, and have enough to get the other medication I need.

He scammed me, and either way I don't really know what to do, i'm not gonna get the money back.

If you could help me advertise, or perhaps tell me what I could use to make quick money, let me know.

Not really sure how this is relevant at all. If you needed the medication, you shouldn't have tried to buy a Fortnite account...

Take it as a lesson learnt. That's all you can do.

Here's a tip: Make sure to look at people's reputation. If they have even one rep for backing out of a deal, use a MiddleMan and make sure it's on MC-Market and that you confirm with the MiddleMan before anything is done. If they have even one rep for attempting to scam or scamming, do not deal with them. Period.

I had a user, Glocaine, who had NO negative rep and 32+ positive rep at the time, and he scammed me $60.
The reputation system is a joke tbh here. It can easily be faked.

If you didn't trust the guy, you should have used a MiddleMan. If he tried to talk you out of it, you shouldn't have dealt with him.

As per usual with scammers everything seems okay until you pay them. Then it's out of your hands

I've seen someone talk about chargebacking F&F still being possible if you say it was unauthorised or something? Do I stand correct or not?

If you claim it as unauthorised a dispute will open, do that and fight it!
