Best Alternative to Xenforo

Xenforo is way to expensive, I need the best alternative to it. I want it to look as close to it as possible. Or just look really good.

yes, you do require web-hosting for pretty much any forum solution apart from those pay-monthly ones. For some free web hosting, 000webhost is a good choice IMO. Never had any problems with them and had used them for a few months about a year ago.

If you use nulled software, often webhosts will terminate your account. I recommend going with NodeBB which uses the most modern tech. Or go with Discourse.

That's minecraft-specific forum software that's quite excellent, why would I be advertising a server in a thread about Xenforo alternatives? Did you even check the link?
