Best anti cheat for 1.7 ?

Why don't you use spigot 1.8.8 and then use protocol support, therefore you can utilize better anticheats for 1.8.8.
1.7 is a very rough versions and difficult for anticheats, I don't recommend it.

The anticheat might be but the support won’t. Why? I’m french. I can definitely assist you far better than anyone else.

Overflow has Lucky, FlyCode and Abigail in the team. 3 really good developers, get that if you want.
Spartan has Vagedes who is probably the best when it comes to support, so if you're wanting good support, go for him. Spartan is above average in movement detection as well, though lacks in combat, so make it up with a combat-based AntiCheat such as Overflow maybe (If you can, of course).
Verus is very good and has minimal bypasses (Mainly private clients are the ones with all these bypasses, not public ones), so if you have the budget, go for them, really good product. Supports multiple versions as well.
I will not be suggesting my product as there'd be bias, but there's my suggestions.
Yeah that's fine, use protocol support and then use a 1.8.8 spigot.
It has 1.7 features and all the PvP of 1.7 like all the 1.7 servers like practice etc.
I recommend Kauri & Overflow, overflow have just released their new anticheat version and Kauri I have used personally and it's really good.

If you really wanted to, you also have ncp as an option. Movement checks were recently updated and are live on the test servers on my resource page. On the topic of support, I usually respond within the same hour and the reviews on my resource page reflect that level of outstanding support.
Spartan, which I test occasionally, is probably the only other public ac I can recommend at the moment if you're trying to avoid false positives (which I specifically test for) while decently blocking cheats. Step is something the author doesn't want to deal with if you want to count that as a negative, can't say anything else bad about it.
Can't say anything about Janitor as I haven't tested it though it has a sour history leading me away from it if I had to choose an ac today. No idea how good or bad the recoded 4.0 beta is.

If he skidded utils who knows what else he could have skidded. And hold up... since when had Overflow gotten Lucky and Abigail? Last I heard both were working on Kauri. FlyCode, however based on the work he left on PVPTemple, is not as competent. thread is much more competent than him.
Furthermore, Spartan is good in movement, but that doesn’t exclude the numerous bypasses sadly. I’d say Spartan and JI are both great for 1.7, Spartan for more general servers and JI for pvp ones. JI is stronger in PVP detection.
Verus is good too, but isn’t budget!
When Lancer comes out, I’ll definitely recommend it alongside JI. I know from 7x6 that it’s quality.
PvPTemple scammed FlyCode and never paid him, hence the poor work. FlyCode didn't leave temple offering them his best. He left cause Kurtis never paid him (Only ever paid him about $30 and expected him to do a lot).
Abigail probably tops most AntiCheat developers in general, myself included. She knows way more than what people think.
FlyCode is a talented client developer, though is code is not so good. He knows how to make detections though, that's for sure.
Lucky is a talented client developer as well, better code than FlyCode, but still has its issues. He's made quite a few unique checks that I nor a few others were aware of before.
Edit: Lucky never worked on Kauri. He just helps Funke find bypasses/bugs.

Thanks for trying to discredit my work by saying "however based on the work he left on PVPTemple, is not as competent.", you have no clue what went on on PvPTemple so stay the fuck away from that situation, I was scammed of almost $4,000 in payments for my work. I made shitty checks and told them to either pay me or im not making better checks, so no duh it's not good, I would spend 3minutes tops working because they NEVER paid me or the other people they hired. Out of the $4,000 I was owned I was paid a total of $150. We apologized to the community and removed the TWO utils we used, you on the other hand, still are skidding, and have tons of skidded checks that you are keeping on the down low, my friends haven't even started looking at your other classes (they have only look through the checks so far)

I was actually talking about it with 7x6 and to be frank you’re making a fool of yourself. The first check is from original JI, so Janitor, which I’m granted full rights (Tylerzz sold me them), and the second from Apex, which @ToonBasic has granted me rights to use the checks from. Every check I have I made myself, thread made or am authorized to use.
As for the situation on Temple, I retract my previous comment and apologize for my ignorance.
