I'm looking for some ddos prot services with at least 10Gbps protection, for <=$150. I know it's not a large budget, but I'm largely restricted to my paychecks (and at mcdonalds, that's not very much lol)

PebbleHost
High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Hello Boop,

Are you looking for Proxy, GRE Tunnel or a direct Cross Connect/Fiber to a provider within a Datacenter?

Any option which allows me to bring my own IPs. We are located in Cogent's NOLA datacenter, if it helps.

Sounds good. If you have your own routing Equipment and want to bring your own IP Space, you will want to look into a GRE Tunnel or a direct Cross Connect with another provider. Depending on the routing equipment that you use, some of them have a GRE throughput limitation. You could always look into services like Cosmic Guard, etc. You might be able to get away with a provider that uses Corero based mitigation solutions.

Yes, thanks for the advice, I'm looking for suggestions of these services, googling returns the names of a solid 5 services (all larger aimed towards much larger businesses).

Akamai is 1k+
path.net is $900/mo (which is amazing for 12Tbps, but still more than I can afford presently)
Voxility is $900ish/mo iirc

And I haven't yet had a chance to contact Cosmic Guard for a quote. I'm really just looking for names of companies that offer these services (ideally at lower prices, but I'll reach out to any company if the prices are not known.

I have only used Path.net and they are an amazing company to deal with if you have the funds to do it. Akamai is really steep, because they target really large businesses. You have touched on a lot of the main ones, there is ddos-guard as well, but I don't know if they have what you are looking for.

Hello,
Currently. We are using Path.net for our DDoS Protection, we highly recommend them. They are quite expensive but you do get what you pay for. I am unaware of any other good ones in general. But try to work something out with them! They may be able to come down on that price for you.

TCPShield is quite good, I know a couple of servers where it's run on including servers with a couple of thousand players (MS). It has some Minecraft specific attacks that it covers along with a couple of other nice to have features that larger servers mainly benefit from (and then also general ddos protection)

If you are still looking for this we can get you a dedicated 10gbps bandwith Path.net proxy for $30/mo, The biggest attack we have recieved was 600gbps, we reduced it to less than 20mbps

That price is way too low to even be remotely considerable (considering the lowest Path themselves does is $500) - also, Path.net has is a shady company at best. We'll most likely be going with Cosmic Guard.

Well, just saying that we get more than 200% profit with that price (Not valuating any of our software, only server costs)

You can also consider https://mcshield.com wich offers cloudflare spectrum for $10/mo (If its minecraft server)
