Ive heard Texas, Canada, and Florida are the best locations for worldwide networks.

If you use Psychz, they have a DDoS protection "GGA" which allows for amazing latency across the globe and supports 500Gbps.
Would suggest finding a provider that uses them, or go with them directly.

We have clients on that right now, they love it.

New York City, Ashburn, Washington D.C., or anywhere in New Jersey are great locations to consider if you want to run a global player base. Far Eastern Canada would be alright, but most Canadian providers will backhaul to NYC or Washington D.C. for most international transit anyway.

Dallas and Chicago are fantastic for continental North America, and can competently support players in western Europe with a decent network blend and routing.

Miami is pretty hyper-focused on supporting North and Central/South America, if you ask me. Some here would probably argue that, but network maps don't lie!

There is no "best" location. It depends where your players are.

Los Angeles / Seattle - US/Asia Player Base
Miami - US / South America Player Base

OVH, Montreal CA is probably the best for US & EU players. In the UK you can get as low as 70ms to Montreal and <90ms throughout the whole of western Europe if the users connection is good.

If your PB is solely in Europe, you can't go wrong with France or Germany
