I was wondering what is the best Dedicated Server Hosting out their? I will be using it for the game-mode HCF. Prefer it to be able to handle 200-300 players!​

I actually looked at OVH a while ago. They used to have there "Gaming Servers" but they have changed a lot and in my opinion not worth it. It is however a very good hosting provider. Would recommend to anyone!

You’re not going to find any cheaper than OVH in NA unless you buy the server yourself and colocate it, where you would only pay the monthly fees. Would take you quite a while though to recuperate your money.

If you’re planning for it to be in the EU, go with Hetzner as they’re the cheapest over there and SSD servers are only ever so slightly more expensive than HDD ones.

Most of the companies you see on here are just reselling OVH or Hetzner servers. Honestly it’s better for you to purchase directly from the source rather than a third party unless you know the reseller personally and trust them.

Yeah, you might get better support but the reseller is always going to up to price to make it worthwhile for them. I don’t think OVH or Hetzner have reselling programs unless you are a quite significant or large company. It’s not worth it for them to provide the discounts to smaller companies because it isn’t worthwhile for them.

If it’s better support you need, then you probably should get a sysadmin to manage your services. I don’t really know what better support a reseller could give because it would be an unmanaged server. Buying a managed dedicated server from someone who resells OVH or Hetzner servers is going to cost a whole heckin’ lot per month.
