What Do I Chose
Wacom has been in the game for a long time and kows what they're doing. THAT'S why they have a monopoly on the tablet market. If there were something better it would be adopted by now. Especially from a company as big as apple. EVERYONE knows about the iPad Pro. If you see what artists are saying about the iPad Pro, the consensus is that the iPad Pro has good technology and works well but is just too limited to replace a Wacom with something running Windows/OSX. Especially at that pricepoint, there's no compelling reason to buy an iPad Pro, nor is anything is does that other tablets on the market don't. I'm saying this not to brag, but if I wanted to I could buy just about any tablet on the market and I'd never choose an iPad Pro. The problem isn't money, the device just isn't worth what it costs.
What? Nobody mentioned android at all. There are no good android drawing tablets lol. This is about using a mobile OS like iOS or Android vs using an actual full OS like Windows or OSX.I somehow knew this would turn into an Android vs iOS argument lol. The apps on the Google Play Store are sub-par compared to the apps on the iTunes App Store with the exception of apps by major developers such as Google, Autodesk, and Evernote. Those are about the same on every platform.
As far as tablets for art go, there are very few android options to begin, and really no good ones. I meant tablets like Wacom's Cintiq or Cintiq Companion and Microsoft's Surface. A mobile OS will never be as good as a desktop OS. It's just not designed or meant to. It'd be like trying to replace a laptop with a phone. You said "other tablets on the market" in the same sentence as iPad Pro, so I assumed you were talking about Android or Surface...
P.S. Can you edit your reply and remove the quote to your own post because it is annoying my OCD.
I can think of MANY things you can't do on your ipad pro that I can on my PCI do agree that there are no good Android tablets, but as far as iPads go, it is a lot more powerful than you might think. As an iPad aficionado, I can do just about ANYTHING on my iPad Pro that you can do on a regular computer.
You are kidding me right? The list of functionalities of an ipad are far far inferior to the functionalities of a PCI would very much like to hear some to prove you wrong...
Mobile games will never compare to full PC or Console titles.GTA San Andreas, XCOM, Minecraft, and Need for Speed are ALL on iPad. Heck, you can even hook up a bluetooth game controller.
Completely defeats the purpose. You can use the iPad as a secondary monitor for your Mac or PC with NO LAG using this app.

Software and apps are the exact same thing.
GTA San Andreas, XCOM, Minecraft, and Need for Speed are ALL on iPad. Heck, you can even hook up a bluetooth game controller.
Mice are counter-intuitive as I have said before...
Try teaching a toddler how to use a mouse.
There are a ton of options for bluetooth keyboards.
You can use the iPad as a secondary monitor for your Mac or PC with NO LAG using this app.
With each new version of iOS, it gets a little more customizable. Plus, there is always jailbreaking...
Now for my points...
iPad has professional 3D modeling with this app and it is optimized for touch unlike Maya, Cinema4D, etc.
Some development on the iPad is possible such as web development, Python scripting, and LUA.
Full Python IDE for iOS
Full LUA IDE for iPad
Full HTML Editor
You can even SSH into servers and upload files via FTP or WebDav.
And how long ago was PS2? I'm talking about this decade's games.Umm, GTA San Andreas is a Playstation 2 game originally. It was ported to mobile a while back.
Some tasks are just best done with a mouse. I have a touchscreen Cintiq right in front of me and still reach for my house to do some things. Because touch can only do so much. There's a reason why after decades of people using computers, the mouse has stayed. My point is mice are completely unnecessary for anyone but PC gamers. Your 10 fingers are way more flexible and precise than a mouse ever will be.
