Number I definitely the best to purchase... MSI is very reliable along with the great specs it comes with. 16GB of ram is excessive, decent processor good graphics card and a sexy ass RGB LED Backlit keyboard...

Honestly you don't need anything over 1400$ if its for school work but if you really insist on spending that much, probs a razer or something

maybe try a low budget Lenovo? they're pretty good gaming laptops performance wise, and many of them price under $1000 let alone 1000 pounds sterling. I'll look up an example.

This one for instance. Well under your budget, but pretty decent specs.
I'm not sure about the reviews, but they seem to rate anywhere between china-level shit and godlike power for the price.

Only general consensus seems to be relatively low battery life.
Take a look at other models as well, most of them are around your max budget.

well, best of luck I'd say. From my own experience, that should be able to handle anything you can reasonably throw at it for the next half a decade.
