Hello,
before someone comments on my choice, I am fully aware that a (gaming) computer is much power powerful than a laptop. My issue however is that I already have an all-in-one computer which is still working greatly and I don't really have too much space for another computer.

I am looking for opinions on the best gaming laptops I could get for the price of £800 ($1170 - slightly flexible) and lower and available in the UK. I would prefer if the computer can play games (generally PC games - not games like Battlefield or Call of Duty as I would tend to play them on console, but if the PC can handle them at high graphics that would be a great bonus) on quite high / decent graphics whilst maintaining a good FPS.

Thanks in advanced for any and all help!

I have a Lenovo y50 gaming laptop which is good and can run most games with 30 fps or so which is fine for me personally. One issue is the graphics card drivers have no supported drivers since around a year ago which is not great for new game optimisation. I can't say what the difference would be but I feel like if they do update the drivers it will get 40-50fps. Of course you could get a PC with the same specs for half the price but for me personally, I have to have a laptop for portability.

I could not find any better personally from PC world for my price range but I wouldn't say it is the best in the world.

I'd rate maybe a 7/10

EDIT: Games I can play with 30-40 fps include GTA V, Just Cause 3, Arma 3 etc. Any games with higher demands will still be good on medium settings but not the top.
Thanks for this, will do some research on it.

What GPU? If it's Nvidia, have you looked on Nvidia's site, and not Lenovo? Nvidia release new drivers quite often.

*edit - Just looked it up, and has a GTX-860M?? Nvidia has released drivers for that chipset as recent as Dec 15th.
