I was wondering what you believe to be the best Minecraft host out there.

First of all, I am NOT saying the cheapest host. I want the best one with highest uptime and stuff.

It has to have monthly payments though. Also, can't be one with a dedicated server over like 40 dollars a month. And it has to be in America. (USA)

Edit: I wont be listening to any advertisers...

PebbleHost
High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

We offer hosting in Canada if that is close enough. If you’re wanting a “big company”, I’d suggest someone like Streamline or HostHavoc, otherwise if you feel like it, checkout us at OptNode. We’re cheap, but we do take pride in what we offer to our customers.

Check us out, start a live chat on our site and I’ll see what I can help you with :)

Dedicated under $40 is gonna be difficult my dude! You’ll find it but you’ll loose the quality you’re searching for!

All comes down to what you want it for a guess? Are you just looking to host vanilla with a few friends? Or run a diverse large scale server with 100+ players? There are so many factors that can change who your “perfect host” is.

I personally love OVH game servers, but they aren’t cheap and I’m sure there are better out there. But that’s just my 2 cents!

Enjoy your day :)

I dont need dedicated, im saying I dont want to pay over 40 for a host. Doesnt have to be dedicated. Also, yes just a small server with few friends.

Then I'd buy like a plan from bisecthosting for like 2-4 gigs of ram. If it's only gonna be a small server.

I hate to hold it against PebbleHost as this happened a while back, and it may have just been me, but I've had a very poor experience with their budget server plan with terrible lag just creating tiny snow spheres using async worldedit at ground level. I had no issues after upgrading to their premium/enterprise plan but it's something that I feel needs to be brought up every time I see 'small server (for friends)' and 'Pebble Host' comes up in a thread.
Personally, I switched to Sparked Host for test servers a few months after I ended server management with a few years under my belt. I have one premium plan and one budget plan, they both hold up fantasticly.

There is no best, just the best for you. I don't think these people spitting out "OVH, OVH, OVH" actually understand your needs or took the time to even glance over your thread, but that's neither here nor there.

For a small server with a few friends, your average shared Minecraft server will work just fine. If you're concerned about performance, you're probably going to need to pay over the $1/GB that's commonly touted around here - but you easily have the budget to do that.

Even if you don't go with us (I get it - we're relatively expensive, we don't advertise here much, and I haven't been around these forums since like 2015!), I can easily recommend companies like Shockbyte, HeavyNode, Titan Nodes, and Crident for your everyday needs. I know the owners and many of the staff of all of them, and I know they'll treat you right.
