what do you think about the new ryzen cpus?Hello!
The following computer will easily be able to max out nearly every 1440p and even play a large variety of games in 4k.
I decided to make this parts list revolve around a clean, black color style with some beautiful RGB memory to spice it up.

They are great! They excel in tasks that can use an absurd amount of cores. However, gaming cannot utilize that many cores. The I7 7700k's single core performance will shine in gaming, in particular games, it can give you a 20% higher framerate.what do you think about the new ryzen cpus?

As much as I want them to be better than what Intel is currently offering, I doubt they will be. It is ultimately up to you.do you think i should wait for the newer ryzen cards?[DOUBLEPOST=1489441482][/DOUBLEPOST]

This doesn't include the $300-400 i7-7700k ("already purchased").Hello!

There are no downsides to having an i7 in a gaming build. It allows you to truly multitask while playing games. Since Turtle has a budget that allows him to go with an i7, he might as well. This doesn't include the $300-400 i7-7700k ("already purchased").
So about CPU.. Intel has good single core performance. You don't need an i7 if the most intense thing you're gonna be doing is gaming. i5 is cheaper and will work just as well.
AMD CPUs are cheaper and (sometimes) have more cores, but are a little slower with single core performance, but still very good price per performance.
