Hey All.

I am looking to learn Java/bukkit so I can start coding plugins and stuff like that. I know it's not an overnight thing, and won't be easy and will take hella long, but I don't know where to learn.

So if anyone has any suggestions on any free websites or something to learn, let me know :p

Thanks

I know nothing about Java really. The only plugins I've made is a copy of a YouTube video's, with a few change of words, so nothing of my own.

If you really seriously wanted to start making plugins, and sell them, you would be looking for something paid. If you only want to make plugins for your own purpose, very basic, and not to sell, then you can use free places. If you want to learn Java in general for free, codecadamy is quite good. If you want to take it seriously and get a paid service, I can recommend you a few of those if you want. But like I said, it all depends on what the purpose is. Hope this helps!

Okay. You need to do just Java before doing plugins in the Bukkit/spigot API. Add my Skype and Discord and I can try to teach you some.

That is still very useful and many high class developers started off by doing that.

Little things like that still helps you to learn java since you get to understand the structure and so on.
He should do Java before getting into the Bukkit API

Any real programmer will tell you the same thing. Read a damn book.

Also, 1000000 people have asked this question. You could just look it up...

Sometimes sites like khan academy have full courses you can take, your best shot as a beginner is get a base of java from a classroom either online or in a class. Then watch videos as you go on
