I’ve setup a shopify store selling N95 masks, what’s the best place to promote them? I can’t promote through facebook ads/instagram because they don’t allow people to exploit the current covid-19 problem.
Any ideas?

i mean,

Ima be honest, if you have the stock, tho its not a good idea for every 1 mask bought, donate 2 masks to your local healthcare provider. Thats a marketing campaign that'll help. Also, this is a short time bussiness invest in something that'll last longer than the span of this pandemic.

I personally think its a scum thing to be selling masks, when there aren't many scientific papers proving they help (i'm in the uk).

Seems like your trying to take advantage of the pandemic, not gonna lie.

I’m here to make money. I’ve got a Chinese supplier for the masks, and basically got unlimited stock. I’m not here to invest long time, I’m here to make quick money and exit. All it cost me was the domain.[DOUBLEPOST=1588462786][/DOUBLEPOST]Anyone that can promote this DM me, I’m willing to pay.

A ) This is scummy way to take advantage of fear caused by COVID-19, especially as Sky. noted, there is little scientific evidence to suggest this helps.
B ) Finding somewhere to promote your product is called the art of advertising. It's something companies do on their own for their specific product. Maybe you should do your research instead of asking us to do it?

Thanks for that kid, I know it’s fucking advertising. I’m asking what’s the best way to go about it, as an alternative to Instagram and facebook ads. I’m not asking you to do it .

All ethics aside, without facebook it'll be extremely difficult. With facebook even, it'll be difficult because there's not really a target audience to advertise to. You can't just put a product out there and hope for the best without an audience.

But back to your question if facebook isn't an option, other alternatives could be pinterest, reddit, quora, google.

It’s worlds biggest problem, I’m sure a lot of people would buy masks. If I saw one, I would.

Probably best to get accounts that have a large following to promote it, but I don’t know how to contact them.[DOUBLEPOST=1588470113][/DOUBLEPOST]You might see this as taking advantage of people, but Minecraft servers take advantage of kids everyday, I don’t see it any worse than that.

I disagree, Minecraft servers offer kids an advantage in the game for money, not really taking advantage if them. Whereas you are taking advantage of people who are desperate. This exploits people's belief that they need this survive during time of crisis.

Any online marketplace worth its salt is going to take your listing down since it's bad press to have someone so blatantly exploiting the pandemic on their platform. I'd recommend selling them to hospitals at as low a price as you can afford, since at least then you won't have the local news coming round to do a story about your shitty business practices.
