Hello everyone,
Recently I have seen some threads discussing, "what is the best ways to learn Java". I decided to make my own thread showing you what are the best resources to learn this beautiful language. Hopefully, this threads helps out newcomers into the Java language.

Personally, I believe the best way to learn any programming language, not just Java, but a multitude of languages is, wait for it. Reading a book. Yes yes the typical reading book blah blah, but really reading a book about programming is incredibly helpful. First of, you will always have a physical guide when you're learning to program. Sometimes when you're starting to invest some time into programming things tend to get a bit annoying, trying to go back to a video and rewind back to the exact time of the video. With a book you can easily just flip a page and Boom! all your resources are in your hands(literally).

Here are some of the books I've read and some that I've heard are a good read.

Core Java Volume I - http://amzn.to/2q5mcyo
Core Java Volume II - http://amzn.to/2p30PgW
Head First Java 2nd Edition - http://amzn.to/2qxEhVu
Java: A beginner's guide - http://amzn.to/2pLXLCU

Another great way to get your hands into Java development is to, of course, enroll in online courses. Online courses are great for people not only trying to start a Java developing business but to get involved in a community. Most of these courses usually have a forum or some place to ask questions. So when you stuck on some code or cough(NullPointerExceptions) you can easily refer back to the course's forums.

Here are some great Online Courses (also great websites)
Complete Java Masterclass - https://www.udemy.com/java-the-complete-java-developer-course/
Code Academy: https://www.codecademy.com/learn/learn-java
Java Tutorial for Absolute Begginers - https://www.udemy.com/java-tutorial/

Some websites:
Udemy - https://www.udemy.com/
Code Academy - https://www.codecademy.com/
Cousera - https://www.coursera.org/
SoloLearn - https://www.sololearn.com/Course/Java/

And finally, I want to see you can easily find some help using these forums! There's a lot of nice and great developers that are willing to help you out! So don't be shy ask for help! I'm sure someone will he there to help you out! Which was my third point, Join a community! The best way to learn and think like a developer is to be around them. Mc-Market is a great place, yes it those have its downsides, but really I have seen so many developers that have helped and contributed greatly.

This thread will be updated regularly with updates to each section and improvements.
Thanks for reading and I wish the best of luck on your journey!
